Alwark Completed a Merger of Companies in Estonia

International equipment and industrial solutions group Alwark Group has completed the integration of Willenbrock Baltic, which it acquired at the beginning of the year. The operations and teams of the companies that had previously operated separately in Estonia have now been consolidated under Alwark OÜ, giving Estonian customers access to the Group’s full portfolio of products and services, covering 32 represented brands.

At the beginning of 2026, Alwark Group acquired Willenbrock Baltic OÜ, a company specialising in the sales, rental and servicing of forklifts and warehouse equipment. The company was subsequently renamed Alwark OÜ. The company that had previously operated in Estonia under the name Alwark OÜ was renamed Alwark Cranes OÜ, and its operations and employees were gradually integrated into the new Alwark OÜ.

The integration was completed on 26 August, and the entire former Alwark Cranes team will continue working as part of Alwark OÜ.

According to Siimo Tänavots, Managing Director of Alwark, Estonian customers can now access an even broader range of equipment and industrial solutions from a single company.

“We have brought together expertise in materials handling, warehousing, port equipment and other specialist equipment under a single organisation. For our clients, this means a wider choice of equipment and services, as well as access to the Alwark Group’s full range of hire and maintenance capabilities, technical resources and international experience. At the same time, the local team and the people our clients are used to working with will remain in place,” said Tänavots.

The merger also has a historical connection, as Alwark and Willenbrock Baltic were founded by the same German founders. “In a way, this is a return to our common roots. The companies have been developing closely related competencies side by side for years, and now we have consolidated this knowledge and experience under one organization,” said Tänavots.

According to Julius Urbanavičius, CEO of Alwark Group, the merger of the Estonian companies is part of the group’s broader restructuring.

“Our goal is to have one Alwark organization operating in each Baltic country. A simpler structure will allow us to offer customers a single standard for technical solutions, rental, maintenance and other industrial solutions throughout the region,” said Urbanavičius.

Alwark Group employs 311 people in the Baltic States and Ukraine, of whom 192 work in maintenance teams and 64 in sales. The group has 122 maintenance vehicles, a rental fleet of 2,518 units and 13 representative offices. The group’s maintenance teams carry out approximately 29,500 units of maintenance and repair work annually.
